I've been doing research on Melanotan and melanotan II for a few weeks now and I've drawn up a treatment plan for myself. I'd appreciate any feedback on anything I've stated incorrectly, any steps I've left out, or if this regimen appears to be too low to see any results.
 
Background:
I have Fitzpatrick skin Type I and long ago in the past I've been burned pretty bad a few times throughout my life. I tend to have at least a little redness on my face year round, my dermatologist has suspected rosacia. I also have a little seborrheic dermatitis that I use Loprox for occasionally. I had one IPL treatment 34 days ago. I weigh 179lbs (~81kg) at the moment.
 
Treatment plan:
 
Step 1:
I purchased the 100mg melanotan II Kit from New Age Tan to get started, along with some bac. water in 30ml sealed bottles from a different supplier (since the consensus I've been reading seems to be to use bac. water instead of sterile inj. water). I also picked up some additional 1cc, 29gauge, 1/2", U-100 syringes.
 
I'm planning to start very small and work my way up as I feel comfortable so I've decided to go with a 100mcg (or .1mg) injection to start with.
 
Day 1:
To accomplish this I'm planning to extract and inject 1ml (an entire U100 syringe) of bac. water into a vial of melanotan II (10mg, advertised as 99% pure) to begin, and then roll to mix. Once the solution is clear I plan to extract only one single tick mark of solution (100mcg). I then plan to inject it before bed into the little bit of belly fat I have around my stomach by pinching it up with my off hand, pushing the needle into it to the full length, and injecting the tiny amount of reconstituted melanotan II.
 
Day 2:
Provided I don't experience any major side effects the next night at the same time I plan on increasing the dosage to two tick marks (about 200mcg on the calculator, ) from the reconstituted vial in Step 1.
 
Day 3:
Same as Day 2.
 
Day 4:
Barring any serious side effects I plan on increasing the dosage to five tick marks (500mcg).
 
From this point on I plan on dosing at 500mcg a day. After three weeks I will attempt a tanning bed session for 3 minutes and evaluate the results three days later. At this point I may adjust the dosage as since I have Type I skin it may require more.
 
Any thoughts, suggestions, or criticisms are welcome

1) I thought it was a large amount, but my wife is also interested in it (skin Type III), and I was estimating messing up a few times since I've never given an injection or mixed medications in this way. Thanks for confirming that
 
2) Ah, I see. Adding 2ml of water would dilute the melanotan II powder, making the amount to be injected a bit larger but easier to control. That's a great tip, thank you I'll recalculate my dosage out based on 2ml of bac. water into the melanotan II vial and using a more steady ramp up period in case side effects show later on. How many ml of bac. water can those 10mg vials of melanotan II hold out of curiousity? Do I need to think about mixing the solution in a third vial if 2ml doesn't fit?
 
I'm a little confused about storage though. On the forums it recommends storing Melanotan in the freezer, but another site (the peptide calculator site) said freezer storage of un-mixed melanotan II wasn't advisable. Here is the quote:

As far as other drugs go I occasionally take Minocycline as it has an anti-inflammatory agent that helps a small amount with my facial redness but a day or two before I begin my melanotan II regimen I plan to stop taking it as it certainly has adverse affects with sunlight. Additionally I do take Melatonin to help me sleep, but that's OTC and I'll probably hold off on taking it for awhile once I begin.

Here is my updated treatment plan (after doing the above experiment that Socalguy recommended, I've upped the added bac. water to 3ml from 1ml). I'd appreciate any feedback from anyone, especially on measuring the mixing/dosages with a U100 syringe
 
Day 1:
I'm planning to extract and inject 3ml (three entire U100 syringes worth, discarding all three syringes afterward - they're cheap) of bac. water into a vial of Melanotan II (10mg, advertised as 99% pure) to begin, and then roll to mix. Once the solution is clear I plan to extract three small tick marks of solution (ie. only 3% of the total U100 syringe), which should come out to 100mcg of Melanotan II. I then plan to inject it before bed into the little bit of belly fat I have around my stomach by pinching it up with my off hand, pushing the needle into it to the full length, pulling back on the plunger slightly, and if no blood is shown injecting the amount of reconstituted Melanotan II.
 
Day 2:
Provided I don't experience any major side effects the next night at the same time I plan on increasing the dosage to six small tick marks (about 200mcg of Melanotan II) from the reconstituted vial in Step 1.
 
Day 3-7:
Same as Day 2.
 
Day 8:
Barring any serious side effects I plan on increasing the dosage to fifteen tick marks (500mcg).

I'm fortunate that I don't have any moles anywhere on me, but I do still have some freckles from youth I've taken pictures of for future reference. I'll post them on these forums before I begin.
 
Not 100% sure when I'll start, I'm still building up the nerve
