Red Hair, Blue Eyes, First Attempt with melanotan-1

I've poured over this site for months and decided to take the plunge in my eagerness to have a summer in the sun not hiding in the shade. I'm headed on a cruise in a month so I have probably not allowed myself enough time to build a tan before sailing but I'm hoping it might help me tolerate a little more sun than I usually can. Here's my log so far:

04-29: .25mg x 1
04/30: .25mg x 1
05/01: .25mg x 2
05/02: .50mg and I plan to do another one tonight

I am having no serious sides. I'm the kind of girl that never reads the side affects of any medicine I take simply because the power of suggestion is often enough to make me have them. Bearing that in mind, I think I have felt slight nausea upon injecting that passed quickly and if I got up and got busy I didn't notice. After my dose today of .50mg, I felt warm like I needed fresh air for about 5 minutes and it passed. I'm using the smallest insulin needles (31 I think) and the injections are a piece of cake. I don't feel the injection but the area around the injection does turn red for about an hour after injecting. I'd appreciate any advice from the experts out there if I'm doing any of this wrong. Wish me luck!
OK, I just reviewed someone's log again and I think I haven't been injecting as much as I thought I was since I am using a smaller capacity needle. I have 1/2 mL needles. I injected 4 full needles (200 units) of bac. water into my 10mg bottle of melanotan-1. I then pulled fluid halfway up to the 5 on my 50 unit syringe. I thought that would be .25 mg but from looking at another persons log it appears that it is only half that. So today when I filled to the 5 unit line on my syringe and was feeling awesome about being able to tolerate .50 mg I was only getting .25. Lame. Can someone correct me if I'm wrong?

You've used four 0.5ml syringes to dilute your 10mg. So a single full syringe holds 2.5mg. There are 50 units, so the 5 mark is .25mg. No harm in starting out with a very low dosage, it's a smart idea to see how you handle the peptide. Gradually start getting some sun or uv beds. Where in general do you live? Best of luck.

I'm being super cautious with these injections since I know my supply of Melanotan has a filler in it after looking at the pictures on Hugo's posting about what Melanotan looks like without filler. My vials are about 1/2 full so clearly we are dealing with some kind of filler. If anyone knows of a supplier that can produce melanotan-1 with the purity shown in Hugo's last picture I would love to hear from them. I bought my melanotan-1 from labpe.com which declares it is US made stuff. The price gave me pause since it was pretty cheap ($16 for a 10mg vial) but I saw enough good reviews on eroids.com about the company that I decided to give it a try. Now I know that it is easy enough to plant plenty of positive reviews about your own company to inspire confidence but I went ahead and ordered with a hopeful heart and tried to ignore my cynical nature. The vials came quickly and were well packed with scientific documentation that didn't mean anything to me but could easily be jibberish to make me feel like I'm getting something authentic.

I have taken a benadryl before each shot to reduce the chance of an allergic reaction. With all my shots the area in my abdomen where I inject turns red and mildly sore for about an hour. Today the area actually got a raised little bump that went away in about an hour. I have had a headache a couple of times but I'm prone to them on a regular day so I'm not sure to attribute it to the injection. I also had an itchy somewhat runny nose but it's allergy season so I'm hesitant to label that as a side as well. The only weird thing I've experienced is a tiny pain in my thigh the last couple of days almost like a small muscle spasm that I have rubbed out. Today my lower eyelid has been a bit jumpy, also like a mini muscle spasm. These spasms are irregular and of short duration but they do have me feeling wary. Also, today when I took my injection I got goosebumps all over in several waves instead of flushing. Count on me to get the chills when all the rest of you get flushing!

The twitch in my lower eyelid seemed to get worse with each injection and the alternating muscle spasm in my thighs scared me enough that I quit injecting. It could have been any number of things but I can't afford to screw up my health. I'm not young and fearless like most of you on this site. Wink

I was told by the supplier of the melanotan-1 that I can return it for a full refund so that was impressive on their part.
I'll keep watching this site and hope for a way to find melanotan without any fillers.
