I need some serious help…  
 
I am a male and I have extremely pale white skin… Unfortunately because of this and the fact that I have lots of freckles… I cannot risk obtaining a natural tan by either sunbaking or going to the solarium, because of the high chance of getting skin cancer (not only for that reason but also when I go out in the sun my freckles become heaps more darker!!!). Therefore my only other option is to use fake tan or a bronzer, to obtain a light subtle tan that doesn’t make me look so pasty white.
 
Unfortunately, because I am a male… I cannot use anything that ends up looking fake… females can get away with this.. but trust me it is so much harder when you’re a guy… I have some of my friends that have spotted it out before in the past… and they say things like “I cant believe your using fake tan… are you a women or what??” and just laugh etc…  If only they knew that I didn’t have any other option…
 
Right now I only have 3 options left
Option 1: Find a really good fake tan solution formula that is almost impossible to spot out as being fake (I know this may sound impossible.. hence the reason why they call it “fake tan”…. Because it is what it is “fake”… But I also realise that is 2012 and there is some really good products out there on the market atm, and there must be something that can help me out )
Option 2: Find an extremely good all-over-body-&-face wash-off bronzer that again looks natural and is almost impossible to spot out as being fake… (Also remember the bronzer is for a male and must not have any shimmer or glitter in it..)
Option 3: Use melanotan II (an injectable tanning peptide)… (I do not want to go down this route because it means I have to inject melanin in my body… and there has been a number of serious side affects… such as chronic headaches, future eye & vision problems, faster skin ageing, stomach pains etc..)… But if I am left with no other choice I will….
 
I am heading to Europe in August this year and want to be able to enjoy my trip and the beaches etc... rather than being ashamed to take my top off at the beach as I am extremely self-conscious about looking so pasty white… Therefore I was wondering if anybody here could recommend an extremely good fake tan product or fake tan formula solution… that is almost impossible to spot out as being fake..
 
I have an airbrush machine at home and have used some of the fake tan formulas below in the past… and although they are quite good… certain sections of my body can be noticed as having fake tan such as my legs.. etc..
 
Formulas used in the past - Vani-T Liquid Sun 8%, AVIVA, Original 8%, Summer Tan Light Skin, MINE-Winter Coat, Playboy-Glitz Sunless 5%, Techno-Tan  (I have also used Benny New York Bronzer (wash off)… however this gives me an orange tinge…)  
 
*I heard that St Tropez is one of the best formulas out there.. can anyone give there opinion??
*Also I have read somewhere about Green-Based Solutions, as opposed to Orange-Based Solutions… and that green-based solutions look very natural because they don’t make your skin go orange… can anyone give their opinion or recommend a formula that I can buy which is green-based??
 
Also I live in Australia… but I do not mind ordering products from overseas, so long as they are good.  
 
I really appreciate any help that you anyone can provide… (Also no matter which fake tan I use on my legs… it always seems to turn out fake… so if anyone can suggest a good bronzer for my legs.. it would also be much appreciated…)
 
So basically in a nutshell to summarise all the yap-yap information above; I am a pale white male living in Australia who would like any recommendations on fake tan formulas, bronzers etc… that are almost virtually impossible to spot out as being fake to the naked-eye

Like @Socalguy said, melanotan-1 reportedly has far fewer sides than melanotan II. Apparently it can't cross the blood/brain barrier and won't damage your eyes as melanotan II might.
 
The skin aging deal is self explanatory. If you tan more, your skin will age faster. Decide on a shade that looks good and stick with it. Don't get addicted to being extremely brown all the time, and stop dosing towards the end of summer so your body has a break for 6 months or so.  
 
Plus, I think Clinuvel is using melanotan-1 instead of melanotan II for the clinical trials.
