Frozen Reconstituted Syringes
03/08/12 at 00:04:40

Hey all Ive reconstituted 3 vials into .5mg syringes and frozen them all until needed. Some of the syringes contain a solution that looks like frozen Ice where some are completely clear.Has anybody else found this who freeze their melanotan? I was wondering if the clear syringes contained any of the active ingredient whereas im sure the 'icey' coloured ones do? Has anyone else found this. The clear solution could pass for 100% bacteriostatic water

Without having seen them, I'd say it's quite possible that the "clear" ones are actually empty, ie the solution didn't come out into the syringe. Or can you say for sure that there's something in there?

Right with paradiso on this one. Not trying to make you feel stupid but are you sure there is something in them?

It can easily happen that you not draw any fluid into the barrel when you start getting toward the end of the vial.

Yeah I know what you are saying guys but that isnt the issue here theres a big bubble floating around there is definetely fluid inside. They also haven't frozen so I was wondering does 100% bac water actually freeze.I know alcohol doesn't freeze when left in the freezer! thanks for getting back!

What temperature is your freezer? Bac water is benzyl alcohol + water. Frozen syringes should definitely look "icy" and not clear at all.

Some of the batch had completely frozen and had that 'icey' appearance whereas some of the syringes were clear but still contained fluid and hadn't frozen correctly.Im going to dump the clear ones and buy a fresh batch I don't know what happened? I used all the icey ones first and got a good response maybe the each of the vials didnt contain the full 10mg of melanotan II that they were labelled. It sounds like a profit maximising strategy by the manufacturer. The fact fillers have been used in the past as well means I wouldn't trust any supplier to hand me 10mg of pure melanotan II

If reconstituted with BAC water I don't see the need to dump them. The peptide may have deteriorated somewhat but anyone correct me if I am wrong, I don't see them being dangerous to inject. Slightly less effective possibly, but dangerous no. I have had the same problem with freezing preloaded syringes in the freezer section of a bar fridge. Use a proper freezer and if it is cold enough to freeze a tray of ice then it should be cold enough to freeze your preloaded syringes.
