pale aussie reporting in

hey all, ive been researching and lurking around this forum for a few days and thought i might come ask some questions.
To start with im a skin type 1, i will never tan, have lots of freckles and red hair basically a very pale type 1. I live in australia
and have worked out doors about 6 hours a day for the past about 3 years, im also a very outdoors type person (love fishing camping diving anything beach).
im still in the process of researching at the moment  but what are your opinions on a very low dose of melanotan-1 long term would
there be diminishing effects after some time or  health issues? mainly considering this for a more comfortable time in the sun,
but also so i dont look like death. cheers!

The only problems people have in extended use is for those who inject constantly for 5+ years. Personally for cosmetic purposes I inject the substance in the winter months and go off it completely in the summer months because I do darken quite easily in the sun

I suggest using this until you get to your ideal color and then just go off it and be in the sun once or twice a week to maintain your color. The way the body produces melanin is different from the way our body produces testosterone. I bring that up because some body builders inject testosterone and their genitalia shrinks and the body stops producing testosterone on it's own. When a testosterone user goes off cold turkey the body doesn't "catch up" on what you were previously injecting on it's own. Remember you are injecting an amino acid not melanin itself.

That's simply not true. In fact, most people don't use constantly, but instead do cycle on an off.

A type 1 won't be able to maintain color with mere UV exposure.

You could maintain your tanned skin with UV exposure without Melanotan given the UV index is about 8 or above about from my experience.

Your experience is the experience of a type 3.

Thats interesting, i work in the sun but even tho i use sunscreen i still get a decent amount of UV per day. i suppose that would cause a tan to fade more slowly (once off melanin) than someone with little sun exposure? thanks for the replys.

I think, even with a low dosage, you would actually get results pretty quickly, given your amount of UV exposure you get and got in the past.
