Hey Everyone! Great website and forum. I am a Type II skin type. Italian and Norwegian but the Italian genes are dominante. I usually burn several times before tanning but have stayed out of the sun the past few years due to skin cancer running in my family. Freckles and moles prior to using Melanotan II.  
 
Side effects: Mild headaches, yawning, and brief (5 minutes or less) nausea upon injection first few days. Libido is high naturally. Noticed tingling in gentile area after first few injections. Dark circles under the eyes. All side effects have subsided.
 
Freckle/Mole Appearance:  Noticed freckles darkening within 4 days of product use. As of today, more freckles have appeared/darkened however no new moles at all. Pigmentation now in moles that were flesh colored. Nothing outrageous. Kind of like the new ‘beauty marks” I have now (freckles).  
 
Tanning: 6 mgs into my loading phase, decided to go to the tanning salon. Used one of the expensive beds (bronzer). Must have gone to long as I came out looking like a lobster and was in pain a few hours later. Burned everywhere as I was naked. Drenched myself with Emu oil for about 4 days to help healing. Usually when I burn, I peel and the skin that is peeling off is my tan and I end up with pink sensitive skin. This time, peeling skin (minimal) is clear and I got a great base tan from the burn. Went out in the sun for approx. 10 minutes 10 mg’s into it and put sunscreen on the still sensitive burned areas (breasts). Got darker and couldn’t really notice it until going to work on Monday (6/7) and everyone was committing on how dark I was. Have not tanned since this day (6/6).
 
Upon receiving strange comments that I am getting darker every day (co-workers) I’ve decided to go onto maintenance mode starting today. My stomach and gentile area are really dark. My legs, arms, face are starting to catch up. Plan on going to the tanning bed/bronzer again this weekend.  
 
I had no problems injecting myself as I administer my own botox injections without any problems. Injected into the stomach. Rotating sides. Haven’t told too many people. But the ones I have told are not critical of my decision. I now have them looking out for me to make sure I don’t get too dark!
 
Once I get my camera back from my parents house (in San Diego), I will take some pictures. It’s amazing what this stuff does. I am sold on it and plan on maintaining my tan year round.  

Hi Scott. I heard about them through the company that I purchase my Botox and fillers from. They had a Melanotan II kit and I decided to google what it was. This is how I learned about it. I was very interested, but of course wanted to do my research first.
