Just ordered bremelanotide (PT-141) from TanResearch tonight. ED and SD for the last two years, kept in check with daily cialis and yohimbe/epimedium/l'arginine for sessions. Newly found ultra-low libido since giving up Yohimbe last week (not interested in anything). Too much lost sleep for that herb, though good results except heart pounds during strenuous sex, and I need take breaks in middle. Just remarried the love of my life at 43, and not taking this SD laying down. My new wife has very healthy attitude and appetite, finally after 20 years of waiting. Doc says lay off cialis, this probably all in my head, but left with nothing I am becoming depressed. Just want healthy sex life for a while, don't need to be superman, or at least not every time.

Wanting to experiment to get a handle on what is not working - plumbing, wiring, or both. Hate needles, but trying bremelanotide (PT-141). Want to also try Cabergoline, if I can find a reliable source, to see if prolactin might be problem. Anyone have reliable source no script...be appreciated. I will report my dosage, and results of bremelanotide (PT-141) and any combo. If anyone has other ideas of a regimen or other meds, herbs, combos, plz do tell.

Greetings and welcome to the forums,

I suggest you start off with a low level of the drug and conduct a dosage escalation regimen.

What is a dosage escalation regimen?

This is where you start with a very low dosage (say something like 0.25 mg / injection) and see how your physiology responds. Then depending upon how well you tolerated the dosage and how efficacious it was (how well it produced the desired effects) you gradually increase the dosage until such time as you find a level that you tolerate well and is efficacious for your system corresponding to your needs. You might want to wait at least two days in between injections to have a better chance for your system to fully metabolize previous injection(s) and thereby have a better chance to establish an effective dosage level for yourself.

Scott,

Thanks for the warm welcome and for running this site. It is my plan to ramp up, but I plan to start at around .4mg since this seems to be the threshold that most people my age and size (172 lb) seem to see some effect. At least from the forum. Seems that .25 is quite low.

If this works as I intend, then perhaps no need to increase. Plan to try about 1 x week, unless I can't help myself. Trying not to put all those eggs in that basket, but I am looking for a solution that will work for my new marriage.

Any experience with Cagergoline? I'd like to take to ascertain if my prolactin levels are high, since my libido and my physical response both seem "off."

syringes no problem. Over counter. Got 100 .5ml (50 unit). reconstituted with 1.0 ml bac water (syringe filled twice gently into bremelanotide (PT-141)). Took 5 units (.5mg) five minutes ago -- 5:00 pm.

Hoping for five hour delay and feeling like I'm 20.

Also taking: arginine, cialis (5mg daily), ZMA, and tongkat ali 1x day as supplements.

Facial flushing after ten minutes, lasted about an hour, then gone. Really intense at first. No stomach issues at all. Nothing in libido dept. Waiting. Wife and I have "date" in about three hours. hope batch good and I am lucky one who sees results. .

No luck. wife super-tired so sex strained. Shocked

she trying to be good sport staying awake for romp. she knows about meds.

I notice nothing different during one-sided (lousy) sex, wife too tired for anything but lay there .

Later, middle of night, woke with wood 2 separate times which IS different for me. . 1st around 3 am (remember I injected at 5 pm), had hard time urinating.

AM on waking, slight wood at 7 am. Nothing beyond good day. No sexual dreams. No feeling of youth or vigor. Nothing I would call a libido boost. Wouldn't call this a failure, but disappointng. Slight effect, since unusual wood overnight.

Next friday will try .75mg or 1 mg to see if dose too low for 172 lbs.

As I mentioned in another post, I have found Vasomax with Bremelanotide to be incredibly effective (but it is expensive). Google it an you will find a source since it is Legal in South America. I learned of it from other sites. It seem quite useful for those suffering from Psychogenic ED as it seems to block to some degree the erection limiting effects of stress. Guys with "performance anxiety" have reported very good results with it. I have taken it alone and while it was not as good as using it with bremelanotide, I did get erections, something which never happened before with Levitra, Viagra or Cialis. Many do use it with a small dose of Cialis or Levitra and say it is very good.

I have tried cabergoline, it did not seem to do much but I may have not let levels build enough. Going to take another run at it. Please give me you dosing regiment with Yohimbine and L arginine and the other compounds you mentioned.

Thanks Rich for all that info. I do want to share info with you, perhaps more depth than this in private.

In the past, about 30-50mg of yohimbe has done marvels for the plumbing AND the wiring for me. I also take at least 3000mg l'arginine at at time, and that seems to help other supplements or meds work better. Without the Cialis only Yohimbe has been 100% reliable. It keeps me awake for the entire night, something I am willing to do but would rather not. I have abstained for about a month from that and am trying bremelanotide (PT-141) instead. Actually am considering trying melanotan II as it also takes care of Rosacea as well, something I have to a small degree on my face. I have also been taking LJ100 (tongkat ali) in varying doses to experiment with increased testosterone or libido effects. So far, nothing conclusive. I am afraid with supplements I need to be more systematic. I seem to be more desperate at this stage, which supersedes my scientific method.

Anyhow, last time I took 1.0 mg bremelanotide (PT-141), and around 5.5 hours after injection I got a small effect of increased libido that would best be termed by me as a "matter of fact" attitude about my sex. Significantly better than the usual doubt..is it going to work this time?

Wife and I went on for about 45 minutes, many different positions, and I never had a doubt about whether I would keep wood or not. Actually at one point lost breath and wood, but it returned after a minute. I was a little disappointed as I didn't get the effect many on this forum report that horny- devilish feeling of a 17-year-old libido, but it did have a positive effect.

Facial flushing. Am trying earlier in the day (2pm) to see if I can get more "use." Also taking 3500 mg L'arginine, and 200 mg Tongkat Ali. I always eat 1000 mg epimedium (HGW) about an hour or two before "date".
