9/25/09 ~ Day 1 ~ 3:10PM

Reconstitution: 10mg melanotan II with 10mL bacteriostatic water; yield 1mg/mL melanotan II.

Injected: 0.25CC or 0.25mg melanotan II - SubQ into right lower abdomen.

No sides except a slight vagal response, as this was my first self-injection ever.

I ate 30 minutes before injecting. Which happened to be my PWO (post-workout) meal for the day.

3:20PM - slight facial flushing, no nausea. Warm feeling is welcome.

Will post pictures of my product and skin tone when the camera battery finishes charging.

Additional Information: I am on Accutane @ 20mg/day.

Is that the case? The quantity inside of the vial looks spot on. -Scott

Hey Scott -

Yes, the vial has a little bump on the top, and the metal protrudes outward. I may have removed the stopper at an odd angle.

As far as the quantity - I think that is actually the empty vial, but I will upload a snap-shot of another vial with the actual peptide. Maybe I will include a reference object as well because the vials are very tiny.

Reconstitution: 10mg melanotan II with 10mL bacteriostatic water; yield 1mg/mL melanotan II.

Injected: 0.5CC or 0.5mg melanotan II - SubQ into middle lower abdomen.

I injected over a time period of about 1 minute. Immediate vagal response. Rested for 1 minute and was fine. I got the feeling of wanting to pass out. I don't think this is due to the melanotan II, just my response from self-injecting.

I ate 45 minutes before injecting. My second meal of the day.

11:10AM - Slight ache in my lower abdomen like I just did a set of crunches, no other sides.

Total amount injected: Approximately 0.75mg.

End.

NOTE: I have noticed minor aphrodisiac effects and slight increase in anxiety/aggression over the past 24 hours. This may, or may not be the cause of melanotan II.

EDIT: 11:50AM - 12:10PM: Exposure to strong natural UV's. Face covered with a t-shirt, and SPF50 on the rest of my skin. (Bathing-suit equipped).

Hey MilkMan -

Thanks for the welcome! In regards to the vial size, I had a feeling they were going to be small so I purchased a few 50mL empty sealed sterile vials to reconstitute with. The 50mL is actually way too large for just 10mg of melanotan II. Next time I'll search for 10-20mL and reconstitute a more potent dose.

Reconstitution: 10mg melanotan II with 10mL bacteriostatic water; yield 1mg/mL melanotan II.

Injected: 0.5CC or 0.5mg melanotan II - SubQ into lower left abdomen.

I injected over a time period of about 1 minute. I am using 30g 5/16" slin pins. I had slight difficulty injecting the whole 0.5CC into my abdomen area. Mid-injection some of the fluid started seeping out of the site. So, I reinjected just above the initial jab location, aspirated and finished off the rest of the dose. In the future I will inject slower to allow my body to absorb the melanotan II, and to cut back the number of pin holes. Slight vagal response, quickly extinguished with slow, steady breathing.

I ate 15-20 minutes before injecting. My first meal of the day.

10:15AM - No sides, mosquito bite-like bump near initial injection site. May be caused by tilt of needle or too quick of an injection which would result in bruising. I have come to the conclusion that this may be the reason for soreness/ache in my abdomen.

Total amount injected: Approximately 1.25mg.

End.

NOTE: Yesterday evening, and this morning, I have been yawning more than usual - that morning stretch feeling. I've also had a decrease in appetite somewhat. This may or may not be the cause of melanotan II. It's been rainy all morning, I may get some UV's later this afternoon, or worst case - tomorrow.

I ate 40 minutes before injecting. My first meal of the day.

11:50AM - Slight warmness/head-swim; dissipated after 1 or 2 minutes. Mosquito-bite-like bump near initial injection site. I still think I am injecting too fast. 10% body-fat makes it difficult to pinch skin. May try to inject into quadriceps or buttocks tomorrow.

Total amount injected: Approximately 1.75mg.

End.

NOTE: I wasn't able to get UV's yesterday because of the rain, and it looks to be the same case today. Perhaps later in the afternoon it will clear up. Hope so.

I injected over a time period of about 45 seconds. I am using 30g 5/16" slin pins. No immediate sides.

I ate 15 minutes before injecting. My first meal of the day.

8:15AM - No sides, little ooze coming from injection site, yet again. Contemplating switching to a 29g 1/2" syringe tomorrow. I may just not be getting deep enough with the smaller gauge.

Total amount injected: Approximately 2.25mg.

End.

NOTE: Rained all day yesterday, and is supposed to be clear for the next few days! Purchased some 30SPF and plan on laying out for sure. I noticed the addition of a small black spot on my face, and the darkening of other pre-existing ones. I am not worried. It's only something I can notice.

I thought the same thing was happening, but it was actually from priming the needle before injecting as the mixture tends to run down the needle to the base.

9:05AM - No sides, no oozing!

Total amount injected: Approximately 2.75mg.

NOTE: Still rainy. Ugh! I am getting browner though, especially from the neck up. Black spots continuing to emerge to a minimal extent.

Hey mellymoo-

They are the same product. I ordered 30mg of melanotan II and received 3 separate 10mg vials. The first 2 pictures are of an EMPTY vial. I took those pictures after I reconstituted the melanotan II into another sealed sterile 50mL vial.

The second set of pictures (with the chapstick) is a full unused vial. They all look like this before being reconstituted.

I really like the results so far (only on day 7). I don't believe there will be a difference between the other 2 vials and the one I've started, as they're from the same research company.
