Alright...here we go people! I have read almost every single topic regarding melanotan-1 and have yet to find actual step by step logs. There are so many melanotan II success stories so let's see if we can get one with melanotan-1!  
 
Intro: I am a true Type I with brown hair and blue eyes. I have never ever had any color whatsoever! Although, I have managed to deceive people most of my life with sunless tanners. I have truly become an expert. From sprays to body make-up to bronzers...I have done it all! I will never ever go out in my true white color. The problem is that I also freckle. With lack of sun and sunless usage over the past 5 years I have successfully faded all of my freckles to a very light light color. Most people have no clue that I freckle at all. I am also from AZ where I spent many years in the sun so I am sure the freckles and moles are going to just pop! I am really not excited about that because I have spent large amounts of $$$ on fading creams and such so I didn't have freckles.
 
Plan: I am planning on using melanotan-1 (less side effects) at a small dose AS WELL as Alitol (a freckle removing product that basically breaks up the melanin without removing tan) So, I hope to keep an even distribution as I tan. Remember, this is all trial and error!  
 
Day 1: Slightly confused after reading this forum. I still have no clue about dosage. Sooo, I have 20mg of melanotan-1 in each vial. I plan to add 200cc and administer 1mg per day. I am 120lbs so I hope this is accurate!  
Administered 1mg, slightly pink and puffy at injection site. 1 Alitol am, 2 Alitol pm.

Yay! We can do this together! LOL. I was very upset to see that there weren't many people out there like us as well. I think we all want that flawless skin with a healthy glow but unfortunately...we get freckles! Sooo, I will definitely keep you posted. I have tried Alitol and it appears to fade freckles quite considerably. The only thing I fear is that it may slow down the melanotan-1 process. All will tell. I have a TON of freckles that have faded on my face so, I too, am scared they are going to just pop out. The good news is that if it gets horrific then we can just stop the melanotan-1 and keep with the Alitol...I am certain they will go right back to before. Ok...not certain but we shall see. I bought from Tan Research and Alitol direct. Best wishes and keep me posted too!

first of all i'm a type 1 too, some freckles. Like you did alot of reading and decided on melanotan-1. Like the others will be rooting for you, I'm not starting my cycle for alittle while yet but likes been said logs for melanotan-1 are so rare .

im pretty sure specers trial was with melanotan-1 not 2, but i could be wrong,

im excited about more and more people trying melanotan-1 as opposed to melanotan II, and posting pics with detailed logs, this can only be good for further research, i look forward to following ur progress goodluck

Good to find someone that does their research! I too am the same way...which is why I recommended the product. I used it in 2006 and decided that it wasn't for me (mainly because I was in the sun and didn't have the discipline to wait on the results!) and I wrote the company and received an immediate refund. I then decided this winter to try it again (because I still had 4 months left of the product even though they gave me a refund) and about 1 month into it I started to notice changes in my skin...not fading but changes. So, I knew it was doing something. I haven't used it long enough to see full results but we will see. I guess it is different for everyone but that is why this forum is a trial and error forum. We all have to try something and hope it works! Best wishes in your search to be tan! I'll keep all posted.

I strongly suggest that you are experiencing a placebo affect from the Alitol.  Here is the forum I found http://skincarerx.com/rosacea/read.php?f=4&i=14083&t=14083 .  If you read this, you see the thread starts out optimistic and then suddenly becomes a dogpile of unsatisfied users feeling that they've been ripped off.  Personally, I find that an overwhelming amount of evidence that Alitol is, in fact, nothing but a typical herbal scam product like the aforementioned 'body part enlargment' products.  

Yay I'm excited to hear of such quick results! I will most likely be ordering mine next week. The weather has been really bad here, and, unlike most people, I want to start sun exposure right away. Anything drastic happen with the freckles on your face yet? That's the only thing I'm hesitant about :/

By the way, I have done a couple cycles of melanotan II and had success with both.  I am a FP1 with freckles on my arms and shoulders.  Overall my skin is almost identical to "spencer" and I had similar results.  He seems to have gotten a little darker than I did, but he took a lot more than I did.  I wouldn't say my freckles faded really, but the other skin became darker and that made them much less visible.  I have decided, however, that I won't be taking any more until the actual product comes to market.  There have been too many indications of potential problems to experiment any further, in my opinion.
