AHH this is awesome I'm officially now going to give this a try. Anymore results and updates anyone? This is good to know and makes sense too. About two weeks ago I had an ugly mole pop up on my arm not huge but not tiny amoung many others that appeared of course but this one in particular just irritated me. So I took matches lite them burned out the flame and then right away repeatedly jammed them in the mole one match after another burned the whole thing off completely. Only the first match caused pain and not any after. Anyway it looked like hell for a couple days as the spot was about 1/4 of an inch. Then a week or so with a scab. and now it's almost completely healed as if nothing happened and no trace of mole whatsoever. Obviously that method is more reckless and invasive hahaha but I was pissed. But this soldering iron is the same concept but much better I am going to try this I have a bunch of scattered tiny flat dark ass ones that are perfect for this. I'm excited bhahaha thanks good post!

heres my story. I got quite a few black freckles @moles@ with melanotan, some a bit more raised and bigger than others.. so one day i was checking out one on the side of my tummy and it had a lil blister in n i thought well if i leave it ... i dont know... so i scratched it hoping to pop it, pretty hard for a while and tried to pick it. The intense rubbin made it scab the next day and i was able to pick it of. It bled loads. I couldnt believe it i am very squemish too i felt like some sort of physco human

anyway. thats scared over quite nicely and looks 10 times better. now for one on my arm. i messed with it all day yesterday and it would scab so today i went outside in work and managed to cut it with my nail therefore picking most of it off. loads of bleedin. plaster on it now. one more obvious one to go! ew

Can I use an Iron? I a going to call a derma and see if they take my insurance, but if not, I have a lot of raised moles I would like to remove. I notice more after melanotan II, but I have always had them. I want to do this before I start up my next cycle of melanotan II.

Don't touch raised moles! Well not literally, but don't use a soldering iron on them. Also, I don't think scratching on moles is a good idea, do you have any idea what kind of dirt is below your nails?

I've used a similar technique to the soldering iron one on some freckles, that have gone very dark(and weren't noticable before) - with success, but I wouldn't do this on "real" moles.

Hi All
Is nobody worried about these moles you are burning off? I have been using melanotan II for nearly 2 years and last summer went to a dermatologist to have some moles7freckles checked. In particular one very black one on my back. Im not really sure what they were like before I started using melanotan II as I only became very aware of monitoring my skin once I started using melanotan II. I developed a great tan but was as I said am always aware now of moles etc. Anyway the consultant got me in super quick as he wanted to remove the black mole as he was v.concerned about it. The biopsy came back negative but the consultant told me afterwards he thought there was a high chance it was cancerous due to how black it was. I told him I had been using Melanotan but he didnt really say much about it.
Anyway my point is I would be very cautious about removing moles 'at home' in case they are a sign of something else and then you would be unable to monitor it. It does seem a bit barbaric burning moles/freckles off your skin.
Just a thought!

Nothing to worry about when they are gone you have healthy skin.
You had to worry if a mole was still there and took nutritients of your blood and was getting bigger and more dangerous.
Your dermatologist made wrong diagnosis as the biopsy showed no cancerous mole, you should ask for your money back.
I have never seen any help from a dermatologist, never (not even for acne problems when I was teenager - a problem so common worldwide).

As for the method:
Skip the soldering iron, just scratch the mole with a needle to the whole surface - scratch as if it was an itchy spot - till you see a little blood (it is yours -mole uses it for food).
Then pretend that it is some dirt and try to clean it with a battonnete soaked in pure ethyl alcohol - till it becomes a little sore. Then forgot about the mole. In a couple of weeks it will fell off .

lol Too much. I am a little skeptical of talking a craft soldering iron to my face lol. I would like to see more before and after pics of the face freckle removal though. And I don't think the dark freckles and moles look bad with a real brown tan it looks pretty natural. Its just when your real white that it looks shitty.
