Thanks pink pig. Remember I'm a true type one. Red hair, never had a tan before. So I guess it would take me a bit longer.
 
I've only been taking 0.5mg ever day or couple of days so I think I'll just carry on with that and get as much sun as I can. See where that takes me. I'd like to get a bit darker if possible and I've not really had that much good natural sun yet (only a couple of weekends) so I think I should be able to get a fair amount darker over the summer.

Hi Jack. Well I haven't been home to visit my family yet this summer, I think they will be very shocked when they see me as they KNOW that I've never been able to tan. I think I'll probably tell them about it.
 
Like I've mentioned before, I've had comments from people at work asking if I'm using sunbeds and things like that. I guess some of them might think that I'm fake tanning. Generally I just try to avoid the questions and just say that I've been sitting out in the sun as much as possible, which is true.
 
As I only started at in my current job this year, and i moved to a different area nobody here knows that I don't usually tan so I guess it doesn't seem that strange to them.

Why dont you just say you been using tanning beds what so wrong with that? Don't know why you react so embarrassed each time.

Yes, I am wanting to also know what Lauren wants to know. I am 27 and very pale, type I. I keep posting on ohter logs but don't get any responses. Maybe u will respond. I guess what also concerns me, in addition to the health risks, is agining my skin so much. Your moles don't look bad, and it doesn't look like u have many. I just hate big dark moleson my skin  and am so afraid of getting many many dark permanent freckles!! To me, it is like stepping toward skin cancer. If this drug is supposed to be so good at preventing skin cancer, why is it that u need so much UV exposure. And how long have u been ordering from USLab research. I am in the US. Do you know where they get their stuff from? And of course, the injecting scares me. I've been doing fake airbrush tans that last like 3 days, which are ridic.

And now for my update. 42mgs in to this cycle now. Things are just ticking along nicely. I'm still just doing 0.5mg ever other day or so, and getting sun whenever I can.
 
I went home last weekend and my parents just kept asking me how I got the tan. They said I must be using sunbeds and stuff but I just laughed about it and said I guess my skin type has changed as I got older. My mom is like a type 3 and she came back from a holiday in Spain a few weeks ago. I was slightly darker than her!!!
 
Also I got chatting to a girl when I was out shopping. She was French and the first thing she asked me was "where are you from". I said I'm from here. She was shocked and said "you look to dark skinned to be english!" Haha that is so mental. I honesly woudn't have thought that this was possible before. I've always been a type one and the idea that someone would think I'm too dark skinned to be english!!
 
Anyway, all seems to be going well I just wish our summer wasn't so shit. I'm on holiday from work now and it's just cloudy all the time.

After i hit 40mg, i cut right back to 0.25MG a day and i maintained things quite well.

Thankfully we've finally had a bit of sun here in the UK so I've managed to get some good quality UV over the last couple of days. A girl I'm seeing at the moment said last night that I look noticably darker than I did just a few days ago
