How do I search for an old thread ?

The new search feature allows a max of the 50 last posts of a given individual. I'm sure that I'm missing something pretty basic here, so your patience is appreciated. How do I for example, find all posts for someone e.g. endymion. I'd like to reread all his early posts and don't know how to get there. Thanks.

I just had the same question!  I'm terrible with the search function.  It seems so much more complicated than it should be

Yes, it seems the search function on this new board is a bit lacking. I'm looking to see if there is a "mod" for this board to enhance the search function. I'll let you know.

I haven't tried using it, but I thought this Search page looked miles easier to use than the old one...

What I find lacking is that one can't track back all the messages of a given forum member. I'm thinking of converting this board to SimpleMachines's MySQL version of BB (essentially they took an earlier version of YaBB and converted it to PHP and MySQL). I tried to run a conversion script earlier to test it out but ran into some difficulties... I'll keep everyone posted.

Good to hear Scott!
I also have problems with this new search service.
Tried earlier to find JMD's log but I did not succeed with that.
If you only have to fill in username and the field after that ex. "topics started by this user", would make things easier.

I'm looking for a place that's going to animal my soul,
knit my return, bathe my foot, and collect my dog.
Commission me to sell my animal to the bird to clip
and buy my bath and return me back to the cigarette!
