I have had almost identical experiences with this drug with two different suppliers. The first bottle came from Synergy Scientific and the second one (i still have an unopened one in the freezer) came from Tan Research. Customer service from Tan Research was MUCH better than with JoeDaMan, the guy who runs Synergy. Anyway. I have been an off-and-on investor in Palatin (PTN) because of the promise of bremelanotide/bremelanotide (PT-141), but now i simply treat it as a speculation to buy it at $2 and sell it for a "scalp" of up to (my best one) was on the run it made to $3. But after experiencing the nausea and the long-delayed sexual response, i'm skeptical about the commercial prospects. OK. A lot of people here see to think that the concentration needs to be kept high when you add water. But i haven't seen a reason why and i deliberately tried it at two different dilutions, with one bottle just using 1 cc of water and the other one filling up the bottle. As far as i could tell, it made no difference in the effect if the same dose was taken. Now as to the dose. 1 mg was WAY TOO MUCH and caused nausea that made any kind of sexual arousal more of a nuisance than a pleasure. Even 0.6 mg caused SOME amount of nausea, which lasted for over an hour. For me at least, i'll stay with doses in the range of 0.2 to 0.4 mg. But there seems to be less of a sexual effect if the dose is low enough to completely avoid nausea. So that's why i am totally negative on its prospects. If people take a drug to have sex, they don't want to be throwing up. I have so far only taken it solo, but if i took it with someone and they started throwing up because of the drug i gave them, i'd feel totally awful about it. It caused a very strong erection, but oddly enough, it didn't give me the feeling of libido as i understand it. There was nothing psychological about it. The biggest difference between bremelanotide (PT-141) and the PDE-5 drugs (and i've used Viagra in the past but now strongly prefer Cialis) is that with the PDE-5 drugs they do nothing unless there is sexual stimulation, either visual or tactile. With bremelanotide (PT-141), it seems to just cause an erection with no sexual stimulation required, which does not equate to libido in my book. I don't know if the side effects would be less bothersome if it's taken intranasally. If i get around to trying that last bottle, i'll start by making it a very strong solution and will try it intra-nasally. But based on what's happened so far with the stuff, it will probably be sitting in my freezer for a while. I have no sexual partner, and finding a partner who would be willing to risk the nausea might be difficult. And, to reiterate, the sexual arousal took around 3 hours to begin. It was about the same time that the nausea was wearing off. I've also tried it as the patent says is possible in combination with Cialis. That made me worry about priapism. My weight is 77 kg.
