I recently bought 60mg of melanotan (melanotan-1) from a vendor on this site. I am 40mg through it and haven't experienced anything apart from a bit of burning/redness at the injection site and some itchiness of the skin. I would have expected to see some darkening of moles etc at this stage like I did when I used melanotan II but nothing. I haven't tried to tan as of yet as I am going on holiday in a week and planned to tan there but I would have expected at least to have seen some slight skin colour change. The melanotan-1 got says its from gl biochem and they seem to have recieved some bad press on this site. Should I be worried?

No there are virtually no sunbeds in the area I live as the government has tried to shut them down. I'm going somewhere sunny on holiday next week so will see what happens.

mullerizo, I've also gotten itchy skin from melanotan-1 (I got mine from Becool).  Is your skin itching all over like after a sun burn?   That's how I would describe it.  I only used 10 mg and wanted to buy more since I hate the sides of melanotan II, but I don't know if I should be injecting stuff with this weird side.  melanotan II from MR had nasty sides and darkened my beard, but didn't make me itch.

uhm, if u got the same sides, your melanotan was not fake

Just using 10 mg of melanotan from the same provider (and being Type III, which is a very different case), am already changing my skin tone slightly, and some freckles on my shoulders and upper arms became more visible.
 
Also, don't deduct things too fast. The new melanotan you got lays its effect from your previous melanotan supply.
 
Lot of factors play a role, you did not buy a "tan color paint" in a store. It is a complex process, and your experience won't appear the same, comparing to others.
 
Using melanotan or melanotan II, you can read stories where people have to reach an above average quantity to trigger things.
