Not exactly sure why you are having this reaction as melanotan II actually inhibits inflammation.

"Thus, naturally occurring melanocortins, as well as the synthetic long-acting compound melanotan II, activate MC3-R on peritoneal Mø to inhibit the experimental inflammatory response."

I too have experienced inflammation very recently, but I am trying to figure out what it was that caused it. It quite possibly could have been either a reaction to the melanotan II and something that I ate or it could have been caused by a degradation of the melanotan II that I had stored in the fridge for too long a period. I was trying to see just how long this stuff would be effective.
Did you experience extreme itchyness, dizziness, and swelling of the tongue and inflammation most noticably in the hands, throat, and fingers? If so, I believe the batch of melanotan II that you have may be degraded or it could be the diluant. Keep me posted. But normally, a high purity product that has been properly stored will not cause this type of reaction. If you continue to experience these symtoms you should stop using that batch. Have you noticed your reactions getting worse over time?
Do me a favor and simply inject unmixed diluant (i.e. diluant only) and tell me if you get the same swelling effect. I want to find out if its degraded diluant or degraded melanotan II. This test will help me narrow this down.
