I began my first melanotan II cycle (second injection today). I will do 3 cycles for the first month. I'm type I with red hair and never tanned, only freckled.  
 
Had mild side effects (loss of appetite for 3 hours, very mild nausea (but big one if I eat), erections, yawning, blushing), nothing very disturbing.
 
Got some sun each day since the first injection... summer is getting here. No tanning yet, but it's quite normal. Will keeap you updated and will probably have some pics.

Have your answer on freckles.  I think it depends on each person but here's my experience with it:  I am somewhere between type one and two.  I have tons of freckles on my hands and arms as a result of too much tanning in the past and heredity.  Did not have tons of freckles as a kid and could tan failrly OK after much exposure, but as I got older and continued tanning, I got to the point where I would turn red or very light tan and freckle heavily on hands at first and then everywhere.  My complection looked like that of a red head although I have dark brown hair.  My father has redish brown hair and freckles so that's where I get it.  Did my one and only (so far) melanotan II  that I received from derek last year.  Atfer one cycle I found that all of my moles turned very dark. Moles that I never knew that I had became very visible.  But no change in freckles.  My face became tan without any sun exposure and looked about as tan (on my face) as I have ever seen it.  The nice thing is I got little to no sun during the first cycle so my skin looked very good, way better than my regular tan.  Freckles did NOT darken.  Then after cycle 2 I hit the tanning bed.  Usually I will burn easily, this time no burn, just a little darker.  Every time I went I got a little darker and the tan was very even.  My freckles were far less noticable as the rest of my skin got darker.  Then, after 3 cycles, I went to mexico.  My skin got darker then I have ever been with no burning at all and my freckles dissapeared and I mean really dissapeared.  I could not find any freckles on my hands where before there were thousands.  the rest of my body darkened evenly everywhere as well and was much darker than my freckles so they were completely invisible.  One thing I can tell you is that when you get to a certain point, you do NOT get any darker.  I was as dark after 4 weeks in Mexico as I was after the first 2 weeks.  But I didn't burn a bit and I would have been beet red after the sun that I got.  My complection looked so different (better) with dark skin and no freckles that I Didn't care if it got any darker.  It was truly amazing.  I stayed out in the sun and surfed all I wanted without looking like I got any sun damage at all.   I after mexico i came back to the rain and had no exposure at all.  For about 3 weeks I stayed very dark, had no visible freckles that I could find on my hands or anywhere.  I thought my freckles were gone for good at that point, but  I have since gradually returned to my freckly self and the freckles on my hands and arms are back just like before, but it took them a while to come back.  I think they were alway there but just invisible because the rest of me got so dark.  I lost my supplier and have not had melanotan II since and the only side effect is the gradual return of my white skin and freckles.  If you are worried about getting more freckles, in my experience you have nothing to worry about.  I have since found a new supplier and I hope his melanotan II is as good as derek's. i'll let you know.  P.S.  If you have lots of moles, watch it! they will turn very, very dark, but freckles will vanish as the rest of you darkens.  People who tan easily often have darker moles, so they only look obvious to you until you get dark.  Hope this helps

Ok, so I did my 4th injection yesterday. I don't have a tan yet, but my face and neck are darker than they ever were (i.e. my skin tone is like a healthy glow). People told me they never saw me with that much color, even though it's not a tan yet. Just went in the sun a couple of times during the first two injections. Now it's cold and cloudy, so didn't got much sun lately (and still I'm getting a little darker every day, so it does work sunless, but less spectacular).
 
My freckles didn't got darker at all, and no new ones appeared. In fact, they are disapearing because my skin tone is becoming nice, smooth and even... and I enjoy it! I will end my 1st cycle tomorrow and continue until I did 3 cycles.

Hey has anyone out there started using melanotan II from muscle research.  I have done 2, 2mg doses.  I have not felt the usual side effects as I did with my last research with melanotan II from Derek.  The side effects are the only way to tell if the melanotan II is good for at least the 1st cycle! Please mail me with the side effects that you have had if any From Muscle research's melanotan II so i can compare them to my previous research.  I can't tell at this point if it is good, but I'll keep you posted.

I purchased melanotan II from muscle research and have no reason to think the stuff is not of high quality as I have had flushing and a feeling of lightheadedness each of my first three injections of 1.6mg.  Will do my fourth tommorrow.

You can see from my experiment thread that I have had side effects from my order from MR, even at a lower dose.

melanogirl, I read your experiment thread and I have also had the flushing and a slight amount of nausea from my MR batch, but there are other side effects that are missing.  I have experience from previous research and Thus I know what to look for.  I don't know if it's just because the dosage is a bit smaller.  I will try increasing dosage and let you know.  Has anyone using MR's melanotan II seen any skin changes?  I suspect it's too early but just wondering.

At 75kg, you should be taking 0.02mg/kg for tanning effect only. If you want to experience the other side-effects then assumming you have purchased the peptide at the highest purity level >95%, you should try taking 0.025mg/kg. So, my math says ...
 
0.02mg/kg * 75kg = 1.5mg per injection (tanning)
 
0.025mg/kg * 75kg = 1.875mg = 1.9mg per injection to experience the other side effects.
 
If you receive 10mg of peptide in a single vial, then to get a 1.5mg concentration, add 10/1.5 = 6.67cc of diluant to the vial. You will then have 6 full 1cc injections and the last one 2/3cc injection at the proper concentration.

Okay, just did my third dose 3 hours ago, a full 2mg, absolutely no side effects. Although I am getting that ill feeling thinking i may have gotten a bum vial (or two), or maybe everybody is different and not all people have side effects. Or maybe it just wont work for some people. I guess I will just continue on with 2mg eod and see what happens skinwise.

I understand what you are saying about the side effects being from "overdosing" and you make a valid point, but in my last experiment I don't beleive I was overdosing.  The side effects were very harsh at first but after my frist cycle, they really mellowed.  There were some minor side effects that I noticed with my first experiment, in addition to the major ones,  that are not present with this batch from MR.  I went to epitan and looked at their research studies and found that the minor side effects that I am talking about were common even at smaller dosage.  I'm not talking about the nausea or erections (although I haven't experienced any of that either as I did in my first trial)  I'm talking about other effects that are less noticable.  I will also tell you that melanotan II did not make me spotty or blotchy as you are assuming an overdose will.  It gave me the most perfectly even skintone I have ever had with no burning or reddness or freckles.  My moles however did darken and that happened rather quickly and was very noticeable after 4 injections.  So I advise everone who ordered from MR to watch their moles closely, If they get darker, it is working, if not we may need to talk to muscle research and have them retest the product.  if anyone has had good experiences with the MR batch please let us know ASAP.  I don't want to continue injections if it's not working.
