I must say that the article did catch my attention, getting my attention to research about Melanotan.  This was in MF's World Gone Weird, so they specifically were making all the subjects they touched upon funny and a distorted.  Just to try to be more funny, they added at the end "... Next up for the research squad: developing a hair-growth pharmaceutical call the "Elmo Tablet.""
 
So it was a bit tongue in cheek, but I understand why Scott and others on the board don't enjoy articles calling this drug the Barbie drug.
